About the Department

The department was started on July 1975, the year of inception itself. Now the department has four staff members. The department teaches Part-II English to the I & II year U.G. Students.B.A english was started in the year 2013. It attempts to remove the fear of English through the Bridge Course conducted every year and help the students to attain the needed standard of Basic English. It seeks to build up the communication ability to the students by English Language Lab classes apart from the college working hours. Besides the department of English utilizing the service of the outside agency to conduct spoken english training programme.
