About the Department

Botany is an allied subject for I B.Sc., Zoology.

The syllabus was redesigned and updated according to the local needs after getting Autonomous status.

Choice Based Credit System was introduced in the college during the year 2005-2006. The instruction hours for allied courses have been reduced from 18 to 15.

Credits and instruction hours, the syllabus for allied botany course have been redesigned every year in the Board of Studies.
